The RAK Airport Road corridor runs through one of the Northern Emirates' busiest logistics and industrial zones. Warehousing operators, freight companies, and construction teams managing projects near RAKEZ Al Hamra Industrial Zone all need proper office space close to their operations.
This client managed a warehousing development near RAK Airport and needed a combined workspace for 12 staff. We joined three 40ft containers side by side, cut out the shared walls with steel-reinforced frames, and created one open-plan floor area. The layout includes a reception desk, six workstations, a meeting room at one end, and a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, and worktop.
We pre-joined the unit at our SICD yard in Sharjah, transported it on two low-bed trailers, and had it installed and connected near RAK Airport Road in under four hours from arrival on site.

Floor Area
Three 40ft containers side by side give a combined open floor area of approximately 73 square metres. The shared internal walls are fully removed with steel-reinforced cut-out frames. From the inside, the space feels like a standard single-room office. No columns, no dividing walls, just one clean, usable workspace for the full team.
Vinyl Plank Flooring and
Suspended Ceiling
Floors are vinyl plank throughout, quiet underfoot, resistant to sand and dust, and easy to clean on busy site days. The ceiling is a suspended grid with warm LED panels. Wall finish is 12mm gypsum board with white latex paint. Four aluminum-framed sliding windows run along the long side walls for natural light and ventilation during cooler months.
Canopy Entrance and
Dual AC Units
The main entrance door is at one end with an external canopy shelter above it. The canopy keeps the entrance shaded during UAE summer peak hours when outdoor temperatures exceed 42°C near the RAK coastal industrial belt. Two split AC units with individual thermostats cover the full 73 sq m floor area without hot spots.
